Top Secret
Records

The record label from topsecret.fm. Marginalised voices first — pressed, filed and declassified on request.

The Declassified Constitution

PreambleWe, the voices nobody cleared for broadcast, establish this frequency for everyone the official record skipped.

TSR-001I

Marginalised voices first

Airtime goes first to those who've had none. A mic is a right, not a reward.

TSR-002II

No filter

Telling the truth about how you live is protected. Testimony, like satire, only lands when nobody holds back.

TSR-003III

No permission

No gatekeeper decides who's worth hearing. The more obscure the record, the stronger its claim to rotation.

TSR-004IV

The code

Respect the work. No bootlegs, no ripped masters, no leaks — protect the artists who can least afford it. Rare never means unlicensed.

TSR-005V

Community

Every listener gets a seat at the table — the Pinboard, the Discord, the chatroom. Loyalty runs both ways.

TSR-006VI

Second chances

Forgotten records, overlooked artists, people written off: all eligible for revival.

TSR-007VII

No boring

Any release that isn't earning its place gets cut. The people deserve better than filler.

TSR-008VIII

Contradiction

Every artist may be both sinner and saint. Judge the work, not a whole life by its worst day.

Amendments IX–XIV The Coolio additions

TSR-009IX

The kitchen

Every citizen has the right to a good meal on a tight budget. Great food from cheap ingredients is a skill worth teaching.

TSR-010X

Paradise for everyone

Every young person is owed a way out: mentors, schools and second chances, so nobody reaches the end of their rope at 23.

TSR-011XI

The fantastic voyage

Every neighbourhood is owed somewhere to escape to — a beach trip, a park, a summer programme. Joy counts as infrastructure.

TSR-012XII

Kids' culture counts

Children's TV and music deserve the same respect as anything made for adults. The kids watching cartoons today are the artists of tomorrow.

TSR-013XIII

Freedom of hairstyle

No one may be judged at school, at work or in public for how they wear their hair.

TSR-014XIV

Don't take yourself too seriously

Laugh at yourself early and often. A movement that can't take a joke won't last.

Articles I–VIII are inspired by the themes of Tupac Shakur's 1992 "Code of Thug Life" — community, protection of the vulnerable, and truth-telling. Amendments IX–XIV are inspired by Coolio's life and work — his "ghetto gourmet" cookbook, his songs about escape, and his sense of humour. Written by topsecret.fm; not affiliated with or endorsed by either artist's estate.
